New job, new city: Mason hopes both will lead to him escaping burnout as a ballet dancer. Not living out of a suitcase anymore is a bonus. His new life gets off to a steamy start when he encounters his new neighbour, David. Things soon become complicated when Mason turns up for his first day at BalletEast, to discover that David is not only his choreographer, but the man who inspired him to take up dancing in the first place.

With two divorces and a string of failed relationships behind him, David has no intention of promising ‘forever’ to anyone. But when he meets Mason, he falls hard and fast for the enigmatic young dancer. As David becomes more serious about Mason, he wants to open his lover’s eyes to the kinks that he enjoys.

Whilst the two men are navigating the early stages of their romance, Mason is facing immense pressures in the rehearsal studios that threaten to dampen his natural enthusiasm for life. Will David’s love and support be enough to help Mason continue to hold his head high and dance like he’s never danced before?

**Contains explicit language and sex scenes, including mild, consensual BDSM**

dance for you2

In this book we meet Mason (Adam's friend from A Dance For Two), who after years of dance tours, he needs slow things down and take care of himself. So has joined a static dance company.

Mason’s fun and cheeky personality shines throughout the book. Though we also see his mature and determined side too.

David is Mason’s Neighbour who offers Mason help to get his new furniture into his apartment, he offers help to build the furniture, and Mason cooks a meal to say thank you. Throughout the day they have flirted with one another and end up sleeping together.

So you can imagine the shock they each have when they both turn up at the rehearsal studio. Mason feels they should not repeat their night before.

We follow the two guys as they navigate their way through a sea of issues, not least the age difference, keeping their work and private life separate, And the constant bullying Mason suffers once one of the other dancers finds out Mason and David are sleeping together.

Just for good measure David is a Dom and wants to introduce BDSM to Mason. At first he freaks out, but After talking with Adam, (and getting a surprised answer he should try it), he nervously agrees to trying it.

Over time Mason finds comfort in his submission, though he often likes to play the brattish sub, much to David’s delight. Though BDSM is a part of the story, it does not distract from the dancing and the overall romance. But adds an extra fun dynamic in the bedroom.

I love both guys; they are so well fitted together. Colette has as usual done a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. I think Mason might be my favourite character from Colette’s novels.

The story is well paced and balanced. We see how A one-night stand, turns into neighbours with benefits, to a fledgling relationship, but can they deal with outside life, especially at work, where the bullying issue comes to breaking point.

The part I loved the most is the gift David has waiting after Mason has been away visiting his family. But you will have to read the book to find out what the gift is (Yes I am a tease, and I guessed it wrong at first) lol
