Wow......I loved the first in the series and this is just as good. I absolutely loved Steve and Matt. They were perfect together. Steve I could have slapped just once but he got his head together and finally admitted he wanted Matt. I'm loving this author and can't wait for the next one in the series x

Matt Simpson is notorious for his bad decisions. From his rocky teenage years to his tumultuous early twenties, he's made a lot of mistakes. His latest, greatest, and perhaps stupidest of them all was his recent pursuit of his boss, the unattainable Steve Paulson. Desperate to make the man notice him, and knowing Steve would never get involved with an employee, Matt quits his job.

Unfortunately, Steve still won’t touch him. To make matters worse, his new job falls through and his older brother won’t hire him. Matt can’t bear to ask Steve for help, and soon he finds himself out of money and out of options. When Steve finds him living in his car and demands that he go home with him, Matt obeys, but living with the man he's wanted for two years proves to be frustrating as well as explosively hot. As Matt begins to explore his submissive side under Steve's firm guidance, his insecurities haunt him. What does a homeless, jobless kid with a string of failures behind him have to offer, even if Steve did want him for more than a brief fling?

Quick Review

By Sue Bowdley

I love Kol's books and this one is amazing. Slave and Sin i've read before but totally loved re-reading them. Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark was truly amazing but I think (apart from Sin) Fugue was my favourite. Oh my. Poor Jacob went through something. The ending. well .I don't know what to say. I totally didn't expect it to end like that.. A great book and totally upto Kol's standards x

A collection of taboo, dark shorts.

(A collection of brand new and previously published Kol Anderson taboo shorts. Newly edited and never before seen stories.)

Release Date: July 04, 2016

Don't be Afraid of the Dark

Destiny is a strange thing. It can be fickle at times, and it can make you miss out on incredible connections that would set you on the journey of your lifetime. But the thing is, you'll never know what you missed out on.

Sometimes Destiny takes pity on you and lets you meet the person you are supposed to, at just the right time. When Jensen first saw Liam, he lost his heart. Even if it took him a while to realize that. It's okay, though. He had to grow and learn some more before he was the man Liam needed to save him from a life he was trapped in.

Supernatural forces collide to give Jensen the strength he needs to evolve into the man Liam waited his whole life for, and when their souls finally slam into each other, neither will be the same again.

It's the worst feeling in the world, seeing him with someone else. There's nothing I wouldn't do, no limits I won't go to get him back. But he won't give me a chance. He won't so much as look at me because he thinks I don't belong to him anymore.
But that's the whole thing.
I don't belong anywhere.
Doesn't matter where I go or who I am with I am always alone. There is something wrong with me, there has to be because no one else seems quite as miserable at being without a master.
But don't we all owe our freedom to something?
People are slaves, aren't they? To their jobs, to their partners, to their children, even to their lifestyles?
We all have those little kinks that we don't tell anyone about, because we think we're going to be judged for them, and because we're slaves to society's rules.
In a world where slavery is the norm I'm a slave to my needs.
To him.
And I need to get him back.

Samuel “Sin” Taylor doesn’t know the difference between sex and intimacy, but maybe that’s not his fault. He grew up in a world where it was easier to get physical pleasure than to find love. But as a prostitute working the streets, Sin thinks he’s finally found his true calling. After all sex is the one thing he’s good at, right? But when Isaac enters his life through mere coincidence, Sin finds it a relief to be someone other than Sin.

How long can he keep up the charade?

Ever felt like the world thinks you're crazy? Welcome to my world. I tried normal, but eventually the truth catches up to you. Thank God for Evan, he believes me. But no man is a saint, and eventually the stories of aliens and tentacles and kidnappings just become too much for anyone to believe anymore.

But I know what happened. I know what they did to me. The voices are calling me back now. They're calling me to be with her, my daughter. And I can't resist it anymore.

Herc's Mercs Series
Book #4 - Once A Hero

Hunter Callahan loved being a merc. As an explosives expert for Lawson & Greer, he’s dealt with everything from IEDs to rogue nukes. But when a suicide bomber in the form of a seven-year-old boy walks into camp, Hunter learns there are some fates far worse than death.

Payne Gibson recognizes the “thousand yard stare” of the PTSD Hunter refuses to acknowledge, and as a natural caretaker, he can’t resist when his boss, Cade “Hercules” Thornton, asks him to help. Hunter is resistant until their surveillance assignment turns dangerous, and Hunter realizes he’s in danger of losing his career, the only thing in his life that matters to him anymore.

Conventional therapy hasn’t worked, so Payne suggests an unorthodox form of therapy: BDSM. As a Dom, Payne thinks he can help Hunter face the issues he’s been avoiding. Having come to trust Payne and knowing his career is on the line, Hunter agrees to try.

Their relationship as Dom and sub deepens more than either of them expected. Payne knows adding emotions into the mix is dangerous, but he can’t help it when Hunter is both the man and the sub Payne has hoped to find. But Hunter doesn’t feel he deserves love, not when his best friend is dead because of him, leaving behind a wife and child to mourn -- and to blame Hunter for their loss.

Payne can help Hunter to stare into the abyss… but what stares back might be more intense than either of them can handle.

By Josh Dale

This is not your usual body guard falls for his client story, nor is it jock dominates geek/nerd stereo type story.

No, this story revolves around Hunter a hunk of a man, who is suffering PTSD and survivors guilt. He has been sent to Herc’s Mercenaries, to work as a body guard whilst he recovers before he can return to the field of action in Iraq.

Payne is charged in trying to get Hunter to open and deal with his PTSD and guilt. Payne hits a brick wall until Hunter freezes on a job and realises he does need help.

Payne believes he can help Hunter by using BDSM, to force him to deal with his issues.  Once again Hunter is surprised by Payne’s personality, first he was shocked by his strength, and now by his authority’s attitude and being a Dom.

I think the author has done a great job, they have broken the molds of the character types. Big Butch Hunter the sub of Geeky Small Payne.  If not written as well as this book is, the characters could have felt so false.  Yes, there are big muscled subs and squarny geeky Dom’s in real life.  But in general readers expect the muscle man to be the Dom.

You really feel for Hunter as he works his way through his issues, expect to have your heart broken and to shed a tear or two.

******10+stars******.....I have come to learn that Nicky makes me cry. She makes me cry a lot

I'm used to it.

I'm not hundred percent comfortable with historical reads but i'm getting more used to them. This one I love even though it broke me...a lot.

Jacob and Elliot are so good together. But every time Elliot left my heart broke, their lives are hard. Jacob doesn't want to do the job he's doing.

His father is a j*****s and wants nothing to do with his son but moan at him and drink. He luckily has his younger sister. Elliot really only has his father the rest of his family I didn't take to (except his younger brother).

The short amount of time Jacob and Elliot spent together as Elliot was passing through was so good. Everything just flows so beautifully until Matt. Elliots old lover and the guy who taught him how to thieve.

I didn't like him. I won't say why but oh boy he is a bad one. Really bad. What Elliot goes through near the end is totally heart-breaking.

Jacob's heart was broken but Nicky always puts her readers back together again. Jacob's revenge on what happened was just perfect.

I love this book...I will definitely be re-reading it and it will hopefully join the others on my bookshelf in paperback. Top marks Miss James x

Jacob Smith is an honorable young man driven by a responsibility to be the town’s blacksmith. It isn’t his first choice, but when his da can’t dig his way out of grief, Jacob feels obligated to be the man of the house. The role includes taking care of the farm, the shop, and playing father to his thirteen-year-old sister. What it doesn’t include, is the freedom to follow his heart.

Elliot Ryder will do anything to help his family, even if it means breaking the law. Farming sheep was never how he planned to live his days, but if he can help cushion his family’s expenses, that is where he will end up. Couriering letters across the land doesn’t pay, but thieving does. It’s dangerous, and Elliot knows the cost of being caught firsthand.

Fate is determined to bring these men together, but can their growing affections for each other keep them there? Elliot’s past is full of secrets that an honest man like Jacob might never accept.

Can Jacob convince Elliot to lead a more honest life before it’s too late? Or will their differences tear them apart?

The fact that they don’t really know each other doesn’t matter, not when they’re technically too close to even think about one another that way. But something won’t let Owen walk away from a floundering Adrian.

I write as Shaw Montgomery and M.A. Innes. Normally I write femdom erotic romance and BDSM erotic romance under the name Shaw Montgomery. Michael is my alter ego who loves kinkier things like age play and other fun fantasies. I love hearing from readers so please feel free to ask questions or make comments. Previews of new books are available on my Facebook page.

R Pheonix

R. Phoenix has an unhealthy fascination with contrasts: light and dark, heroes and villains, order and chaos. She believes that love can corrupt and power can redeem. Her muse is a sadomasochistic slave driver who thinks it's terribly amusing to give her the best ideas when she just got comfortable and warm in bed, and she passes on that torture to her readers. She also tries entirely too hard to be funny, and she mercilessly inflicts her terrible sense of humor upon anyone who speaks to her.

Two years ago I made a mistake, a big one and then I threw in a couple more just for good measure. I screwed up my life big time but I made it through. I was lucky.

Then I was given the opportunity for a fresh start. Two years in Auckland, NZ, ‘The City of Sails’. Away from the LA gossip, a chance to breathe, to get my life back together.

I grabbed it and packed my new set of golden rules with me.

I don’t do relationships.

I don’t do commitment.

I don’t do white picket fences.

And I especially don’t do arrogant, holier-than-thou, smoking hot K9 officers who walk into my ER and rock my world.

The only thing I know for certain about Dr. Michael Oliver is the guy is an arrogant, untrustworthy player, and I’d barely survived the last one of those in my life. Once was more than enough.

The man might be gorgeous but my eleven-year-old daughter takes number one priority and I won’t risk her being hurt, again. I’m a solo dad, a K9 cop and a son to pain in the ass, bigoted parents.

I don’t have time for games.

I don’t have time for taking chances.

I don’t have time for more complications in my life.

And I sure as hell don’t have time for the infuriating Dr. Michael Oliver, however damn sexy he is.

They say first impressions are so important and usually are correct.  Well not in this case.  Michal comes across as shallow, and Josh hates that about him.  Josh comes across too structured and unwilling to bend his self-imposed view of life.

Unlike many of the reviews about this twosome, I started off with a dislike for Josh at first, I am not sure why, maybe because he made assumptions of Michael and was unwilling to give him any slack.

The story felt well-paced and real.  I liked the banter between both characters and of course their fight against their feelings for one another.  I also thought there was a little humor mixed in which allowed the characters to develop and overcome their differences and views.

All in all the book was a great debut for a new author, I really grew to like and feel for the characters. I look forward to more books from this author.

14 May 1789
The night at last darkened as Thomas wandered the Parisian streets, feeling the people’s anger. Though the current French environment shunned the wealthy, Thomas’s commanding presence allowed him to walk about with little resistance. Besides, if his personality failed to assuage someone, his American citizenship placated them soon enough. Coming from a land that had already tossed out a king provided him a certain reverence.
The evening proved calm, however, with no one shouting or rioting. Perhaps later, Thomas might venture to the salons for conversation, but for the moment, he watched the common people as he headed from his flat along the Seine toward the Bastille. He sought the poor that evening, not the stuffy rich who bored him even in their nastiness.
Thomas dodged a puddle of mud and almost ran into a wealthy woman.
She grunted but then smiled when she looked up at him. “Pardon me.”
“It was my fault.” Thomas bowed. “I should apologize to you.”
She giggled and walked away, but not before turning around to glance at him one more time.
His reflection in a nearby window reminded him why so many women and men stopped to admire him. His muscular frame, his long black hair tied in a bow at the base of his neck, and his all-black attire, which defied the contemporary fashion of men wearing bright colors, combined to create an allure. Thomas knew he possessed a sex appeal. He captivated them so much they seldom commented with their usual prejudice on his darker complexion.
He turned onto Rue St. Louis and headed north. The houses there were dingier, the streets narrower, and the people dirtier. He traveled well into a residential area and found a secluded corner, the perfect place to watch for that night’s prey.
A few workers stumbled by, already drunk and searching for their homes, then some children frolicked along with a group of women. Still, nothing tempted him. Next, a soldier patrolled the streets and stared at him with suspicion, a prey that proved more to Thomas’s liking. Unfortunately, he saw goodness in the soldier’s face. He would not tempt fate with that one. The young man brushed a lock of blond hair out of his eye and passed as Thomas watched and marveled at his beautiful tight backside when he faded into the night.
Thomas nearly lost his breath when he turned and looked the other way. An angel?
The man had short brown hair, piercing hazel eyes, and soft skin. He carried the slight tone in his muscles, which so attracted Thomas, with a hint of nervousness. Not too masculine, but neither too feminine.
As the gentleman passed, Thomas fell in behind to study him further.
Only after Thomas almost drooled over the beauty in front of him did the clothing hit him. A priest. Thomas shook his head. How on earth did a godlike creature end up serving that vile Catholic Church?
He followed, anyway, hiding among the buildings and trailing so quietly that the priest never suspected a man behind him scrutinized every angle of his body beneath the black robe.
As they passed a narrow street, the priest turned and peered toward the cramped passage, then dashed down it. Thomas rushed to follow and hid in a doorway nearby.
“Can I help you?” the priest asked. “What is it?” He knelt before a young girl, perhaps no more than four, and placed his hand on her shoulder. She sobbed and slumped against the priest, who wrapped his arms around her. “Talk to me. You’re safe. What can I do?”
Her breathing finally slowed. “I’m lost.”
“What’s your name, dear?”
“Delphine,” she whispered.
“Well, Delphine, we’ll find your home. Can you give me some clues?”
Thomas listened as the priest quizzed her. She relaxed as the conversation continued and giggled as the priest joked and moved down the long alley with her, talking to her until he stooped down and picked her up while continuing to chat.
“Do you think we’re close?” he asked.
“I think so.” She looked around, clinging to him.
“Ah! Delphine!” A woman ran toward them, so the priest put the girl on the ground and stood aside as she sprinted to collapse in the woman’s arms.
“Mama,” she shouted.
“I’ve looked everywhere for you,” her mother replied. “What did I tell you about wandering away? We have just moved, after all. You’ll get lost in this big city.” Then she crossed herself. “Abbé, God intervened yet again to save my daughter.”
“Merely one of his servants, Madame.” The sound of his resonant voice sent waves of passion through Thomas.
“How can I repay you?” she asked.
“You owe me nothing,” the priest said as he turned to Delphine. “And you, little one, you must be careful in Paris. You can get lost easily, so stay close to your mother.”
She giggled as he tickled her stomach. “I will, Abbé.”
After they left, the priest turned and his eyes widened when he saw Thomas. He paused.
“Monsieur, pardon me. I didn’t see you.”
“I didn’t mean to startle you, Father. Good evening.” They gazed at each other for a long moment.
“No harm. Good evening, sir.” The priest nodded and walked away.
Too good to be true. Thomas stalked the priest as he turned the corner and entered the gate of a small church. There, Thomas leaned against a building, breathing heavily from the passion that erupted inside him, a longing he must satisfy. He wanted to stand outside the church and wait for the priest, or even knock on the door and talk to him again, but he was too unsettled. He remembered an establishment nearby that would serve his purpose well, so he raced to it, slammed through the doors, and sat before he fell, when a young man of about eighteen years approached him.
“Monsieur, you look unwell. Can I assist you?”
The youngster wasted little time. He needed a bath, but otherwise presented an adorable face and solid little body.
“What are you offering?” Thomas smirked.
“Come, I’ll show you.” He grabbed Thomas’s hand and pulled him up a stairway and into a dimly lit room. “I assume you know this’ll cost you, and that I don’t play the passive role.”
“Quite the entrepreneur. I can pay what you charge.” Thomas closed the door and embraced the youth as he kissed him. With great speed, he threw the youngster onto the bed and tore off both of their clothes.
“Slow down,” the young man pleaded.
Thomas did so and kissed the boy’s neck. His fangs descended, and he softly pricked the dirty skin to taste the blood before he took their interaction further.
“Do you enjoy biting?” the boy asked.
“Only momentarily,” Thomas replied before he plunged his fangs into the vein for a deeper taste.
As the hot liquid flowed across his lips, images of the boy’s life saturated Thomas’s mind. The vision confirmed what Thomas already ascertained. The young man prostituted himself part-time and was a useless degenerate who attacked and robbed innocent people. He assaulted children, including his brother, for sport. Ah, yes. And, of course, he murdered without remorse.
He grabbed the young man’s hair and kissed him, then rolled him over against his will. He struggled for the first time, but Thomas held him tightly.
“I told you,” he said, “I don’t—”
Thomas clamped his hand over the victim’s mouth. “Relax.” He stopped squirming and Thomas let him go. “What if I double the price? Or triple it, even?”
The lad contemplated for a moment. “Triple? Just to bugger me?”
Thomas petted his hair. “Yes.”
“Fine. But I won’t like it.” Yet he ground his ass into Thomas’s crotch.
Thomas thrust inside of him and pounded. The young man wriggled and bit his lower lip, but he never tried to stop Thomas until the vampire finished, his tension released as he exploded inside the nice bubble ass.
Sated, he released the lad, who pushed him off, cursing. “I told you, and I warned you, you ass.” He scrambled off the bed and snatched a knife from under the mattress, and in his nakedness came toward Thomas.
When the youth tried to stab him, Thomas grabbed his wrist and squeezed hard until the blade dropped to the floor. He pulled the young man toward him and stared into his eyes, his expression terrified.
“I thought we had an agreement? Besides, you can’t win. You won’t haunt this city anymore. Go peacefully.”
Thomas bent the boy’s head to the side and plunged his fangs back into the flesh, sucking the delicious blood until the youth’s heart stopped.
Thomas kissed the puncture wounds to heal them and flung the corpse to the floor before dressing, loving that a large city meant no one questioned yet another death. Sexually satisfied and fed, he brushed his clothing off before hurrying down the stairs and out the door without anyone noticing.

‘Do you like the place?’ Bradley asks.

‘Like it? I love it. If Mandy could see me now, she would be gobsmacked.’

Bradley pulls me into his arms, hugging me tight as his lips brush against mine.

‘Well, now we’re finally alone, we can have some fun,’ he says as his cock stiffens against my leg.

I kiss him back, pulling him tighter against me. ‘Where would you like me, sir?’

‘Come with me.’ Bradley takes my hand and leads me back into the living room, walking me over to one of the blue leather chairs. Standing me in front of the chair, his hands caress my face as he kisses me, his tongue exploring deep into my mouth. He pulls away from me and slowly unbuttons my shirt, admiring my smooth, hairless body, as my chest and belly are revealed to him. I hear a moan of approval.

‘I see you did as I asked,’ he says in a soft whisper.

‘Yes, is this smooth enough for you?’ I ask.

Sliding his hands around my waist, he kisses and nibbles at my neck. My cock stiffens in my pants as his hands slide to my belly. His right hand gliding up to my nipple, he squeezes it hard, making me wince in pain. I feel his mouth move down from my neck as he drags his wet tongue along my skin, until he reaches my nipple, softly circling it with his tongue.

He removes my shirt from my shoulders and it drops to the floor. Bradley lowers himself to the floor, kissing my chest and belly on his way down. Undoing my belt and jeans, he pulls them to the floor. His face presses against my stiff cock in my white briefs and he kisses my cock through the material.
‘Shall I see if your cock is smooth as well?’

‘Yes, sir,’ I reply. My breath quickens as my cock throbs in my pants.

Bradley slides my pants to the floor, releasing my hard cock.

‘Very nice,’ he says as he sees my hairless cock and balls.

His tongue circles the head of my cock, pushing my foreskin back off the head as I moan with pleasure.
‘Sit down,’ he says in a commanding voice.

I don’t know what possessed me to do it, but I sat up on his lap, his arms falling to his sides, but he remained motionless. I stared in awe as I began trailing my fingers up his body, from his hip bones, trailing along his defined abdominal muscles, up his pectorals feeling the tuffs of chest hair tickling the skin of my fingers. I continued from his collarbone and up his neck until my palms rested on the man’s cheeks. Gerard stirred, but never woke.
I tilted my head slightly and marveled at the man that once held my father’s heart, but now was quickly beginning to worm his way into mine. I wished I knew an artist who would be able to capture Gerard's face on paper perfectly so that I could look at it every night after his trip in Abingdon was over. I didn’t want to think of him leaving. I just wanted to revel in the stunning work of art that was Gerard Ramhart. All man, all muscle, and how I wanted him to be mine. I wasn’t afraid to admit it to myself anymore. I wanted him, so fucking bad; but would he ever be mine? Would I ever get to feel what it was like to be his? Would I ever know what it was like to have his lips on mine?
Instinctively, my thumbs began running along his dark thickly grown beard and then to his lips. I remembered that moment when he was stepping out of the shower, and we almost shared a kiss. Almost. I never stopped thinking about it, and the desire to kiss him at that moment was making my heart practically beat out of my chest.
As if my body had a mind of its own, I began leaning down, bringing myself closer to Gerard’s face. My face was inches away from his. I could feel his breath on my skin, and his full lips were close, oh so close. My heart was thundering so loud I was worried Gerard would hear it and wake up. This may have been my only chance to kiss him, and I didn’t want it to slip by. I got closer and was about to press my lips to his when Gerard’s eyes shot open.
Oh fuck, I was so screwed. I had no way to explain this. I pulled back some to looked into his startled eyes. I opened my mouth to try to say something, anything, but what the fuck could I say?
“I-I…Gerard, I’m –” my words were cut off immediately when his hand cupped the back of my head, and his free arm around my waist. Gerard pulled me down to him and embraced me in a deep soulful kiss.
I was taken aback by the sudden embrace, but not enough to pull away. When the initial shock wore off, I closed my eyes and gave back as much as Gerard was giving me. And holy fuck, was he giving me something that was literally stealing my breath away.
The kiss was not how I imagined it. I’d been kissed by many guys growing up, including Brett. I didn’t know if it would be possessive, rough and demanding like Brett’s or dull and lifeless like some of the casual flings I had to entertain my libido. I thought it would be simple but nice, like when Adam and I shared our first kiss, but it wasn’t. They all paled in comparison to the feel of Gerard’s lips on mine.
The kiss was heated, but not enough to devour me. It was filled with affection, longing, desire, wholesome. Gerard was kissing me as if he’d been waiting for centuries to do so, and now that he had me, he wanted to treasure the moment. He wanted to cherish me. I had never felt so desired by a man in all my life, and my eyes burned as if I would cry at the realization.
Was this how my father felt when he kissed Gerard? Was this how it felt to have someone kiss you like you were wanted? I couldn’t begin to comprehend how badly I wanted this moment, how much I needed it. Gerard was claiming me, and I wanted to be his.

Book Title: Pride of Love
Author: Kevin Dwyer
Publisher: Alibris
Release Date: June 3, 2014
Fiction or Non Fiction: Fiction
Genre/s: Contemporary, Literature & Fiction, Coming of Age
Length: 143 Pages

Twenty-five-year-old Jesse Coleman endures a heinous act on him. After the case is dropped, his mother, Claire, accedes to his request to move. Leaving behind his old life, he is left with a disturbing scar on his back. Hopelessness comes in on him and he takes off the bracelet that he has worn his whole life, which means something to him. Looking for a new beginning, Jesse who dresses differently meets Jaden who dresses like an outcast and the two fall in love with each other. With love from their mothers and good friend Liz, they try to bury their pasts behind.

The talk show host woman sits on the stage with a fancy couch alongside her with a mother and young grown-up son. The supervisor with the headset on counts down from five to one with his fingers, and the cameras go live. There is audience applause and then a pleasant smile comes on the host's face. "Thank you for tuning in on the Tina Live Show. I'm Tina and my guests today are Claire along with her son, Jesse Coleman." Tina sets her attention on Claire and Jesse. "Thank you for joining us today."

"Thank you for having us," Claire replies back with a smile, then looks at her son, Jesse. She slides Jesse's brown hair bangs to the side from his forehead. "You comfortable being here, sweetie?"

Jesse sets his focus on Tina, who is looking on with the smile diminishing away. "Yea . . . I'm all right," Jesse says.

Tina takes a moment and gathers words to say, then looks at the audience looking on in their seats. "About a year and a half ago, Jesse Coleman was attacked from behind in a wooded area. He was beaten and his back was cut open. Basically, he was left for dead. What's so horrifying about this attack is that the cut on the back spelled a word." Tina looks over at the two sitting right across from each other.

A nod comes from Claire's head, like she's reliving the day. "Yes, the cut spelled out a word. It was not a cut in his back . . . more like a butcher does. My son's back had to be stapled shut."

Tina puts her attention on Jesse. "I'm so sorry that happened to you. You're a strong man to live from that."

"Yea . . . ," Jesse replies back; he is wearing plain clothes with brown shaggy hair covering his head. "Others say that I cheated death."

"How old are you?" Tina asked.

"I'm twenty-six, but I was twenty-five when I was attacked."

Tina looks around his arm area. "Can you explain what that bracelet you have on means?"

Glancing down at his arm, Jesse lifts up the arm and shows a blue, white, and green sown bracelet with "Pride of Love" stitched in black in the colors. "Pretty much means take pride in yourself and love yourself." Jesse sets his eyes on Tina through his glasses. "I'm gay, and that is the little thing that defines me. I was attacked for being who I am. Wasn't bothering no one. Just kept to myself."

Tina looks over at Claire with a blank stare down. "You all right, Claire? Looks like it's hard to talk about." "Yea, I'm fine. After the first court hearing, it was best to leave and start over and I'm thankful for that."
"How did you deal with the attack? I'm a mother of two," Tina tells Claire. "I mean it had to be tough on you, emotional wise."

"Hope . . ." Claire wipes her eyes with fingertips. "Jesse found what he needed when we moved. Found someone that understands him. Small world, don't you say?"

Novel: Silent Terrorism: Saudi Arabia
Author Name: Phetra H. Novak
Release day: March 17, 2018
Pages: 209
Genre: MMPolitical, suspence

Early morning, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Swedish correspondent cameraman Ebbe Skoog is out getting shots for an upcoming story and stumbles upon something he isn’t supposed to see. On a building site, on the outskirts of the city, four men looking a lot like the Mabahith—the secret police—are sending a bound man to a certain death by stoning.

With camera still rolling, Ebbe begins to retreat when a second man enters the scene and throws himself on top of the dying man, shielding him with his body, soothing with loving words. Ebbe’s reaction is immediate. Clutching his camera, he drags the screaming lover out of the rain of stones, and in a storm of sand, they flee into the brutal uncertainty of the desert.

Correspondent reporter Mattis Andersson is the wild card, the rebel. He’s also Ebbe’s only hope of getting out alive with his new companion, Aasim El-Batal, and the memory card holding the footage that will make Saudia Arabia burn in the eyes of human rights activists the world over.

With their past as lovers, and their present as colleagues and best friends who would take a bullet for each other, it now falls on Mattis to protect his and Ebbe’s future. But the Swedish government wants to silence them, unwilling to jeopardize years of lucrative weapons deals for “some petty gay love affair.” It’s an impossible mission that will draw on every strength the two men possess.

A loud scream rent the air, startling him enough that he jerked and let go of his camera. Experience and a couple of bad drops had taught him to always have it around his neck, and now he was

happy that he did as the camera bounced hard against his chest

and came to a rest on his gut.

What on earth was that? Not a wild animal, which he had hoped for, but a human voice. Or perhaps he’d imagined it. Looking toward the building the scream had come from, he still wasn’t sure of what he’d heard and was about to move on, in spite of the fact that every part of his reporter’s brain was telling

him something was wrong. But fear was rolling over him like a tidal wave. Another scream tore through the building, echoing off the half-built walls, and this time, he knew what he heard was not imagined.

“What the hell?” He didn’t dare move. He didn’t know if he could. The screams were horrific, yet there was nothing else. No call for help, no thud of someone falling from the building, no other sound at all.

“Get out, Ebbe,” he told himself. “Get help, don’t go in there.” But he knew before he uttered the last words that he would go in there. It was who he was; he needed to know who had screamed and why.

With a quick glance around—there was nothing apart from his car way back in the distance—he moved forward. Whoever was in the building wouldn’t have seen or heard him, and he was grateful for that. There was something not right, though he couldn’t put his finger on what. He just knew. Through years of doing what he was doing, in places that didn’t always operate according to Western norms, he had learned to trust his gut.

His heart was beating wildly as he walked the few steps toward the building, ready to duck and hide at the first sign of trouble. Nearing the first opening, he stopped and flattened himself against the wall, straining to hear. He could make out muffled voices and even quieter muffled screams.

He knew without looking what it meant. Someone in there was being tied up and gagged.

Leave, go back to the car, call Mattis. He’ll have the authorities and the international press on it in a matter of minutes. But even if Mattis and he worked quickly, whoever was in there would be long gone, and there would be no evidence there had been any sort of foul play. Somewhere deep inside of him, Ebbe still hoped he was wrong, that he’d look around that corner and find some sort of consensual ritual going on.

Closing his eyes, he shook his head. Damn it to hell! You’re fooling yourself. Look at where you are. Making sure his camera was secure in his hand and ready to go, he opened his eyes and took one last look at his car while trying to talk some sense into the logical part of his brain. It didn’t work.

Pushing everything else out of his mind, he peeked around the corner, slowly letting out the breath he’d been holding when he saw there was no one there. He needed to go deeper inside, and edged around the building, ducking into a dark alcove, where he got his camera ready to film.

There were no muffled screams now, only the sound of soft chanting murmurs from the other side of the cement wall. If he could get to the opening at the end of the wall, that should give him a view of the men he imagined he would see. Mattis is going to kick my ass for this...for putting myself in danger, and for not letting him in on the action. Hunched down, he moved as silently as he could to the opening in the wall, the voices becoming clearer the closer he came. Dropping one knee to the floor to stabilize himself, he tried to make his large body as small as possible before peeking around the corner with his rolling camera.

Four men standing in a circle...

A man slumped on his knees on the hard floor, head hanging, hands bound to his back...

At a closer look, Ebbe saw there was something stuffed in the man’s mouth. It made his stomach churn, and what he really wanted to do was to throw up. Covering his mouth with his hand, he pressed his forehead against the cool, rough wall, trying to get his nausea under control. What the hell had he just walked in on? The anger was sudden and instant, the burst of adrenaline giving him the courage and stamina needed to not only stay put but get his mind moving. If he didn’t do something, the man was going to die. They—who looked an awful a lot like the Mabahith, the brutal Saudi Arabian Secret Police—had gagged him to quiet his screams and make their job easier. Blood streamed down the man’s face, and it looked as if his shoulder might be dislocated. With the camera still shooting the scene before him, Ebbe pushed up on his feet and moved closer to the opening. He couldn’t leave a man to a certain death or let these bastards get away with what they were doing. If all else failed, he needed to get their shitty faces on film so he could show the world what went on behind closed doors.

Lifting his camera once more, he focused in on the group of men so all of them were in the shot and there would be no question of identification. The four men, who momentarily had been still, were now moving in a creepy, synchronized way and raised their arms as they started up with what they must have been doing before to cause the man to scream in such agony. Armed with stones big as fists, they launched them at the man on the ground who yelled and rolled into a ball as the rocks rained down on his broken body. A huge chunk of skin and flesh flew off as one hit his head. Ebbe bit his tongue to stop his own scream escaping. He bit so hard he could taste blood.

When a particularly big rock hit the kneeling man’s cheek, his head jerked to the side, giving a perfect view of the man’s face. Ebbe gasped out loud and his heart stopped for a second or maybe even two.

“Kadar,” he whispered. It was the same young man he had talked to at the football game only a few hours ago—the young man he’d given his card to. The young man who wanted out so he could see the pretty blond people. It didn’t make sense. Ebbe shot up from his hiding place, ready to charge right over there, but was stopped when another man came tearing into the building, shouting out Kadar’s name.

“Kadar! I am here, my love,” he yelled in Arabic.

good book or making up fantastic stories with even more fantastic characters, than live in the real

The real world is strange, in a very non-humorous way, and people in it complicate it to the point of
wearing you out. In the written-word world, whether it’s someone else’s words or her own, things

Regent's Park Pack Series

Right from the start of the book I felt I was there in the middle of this large Werewolf pack.  The Authors descriptive skills, really brings the story world to life.  Add to that, characters that are very individual and varied and that’s not just the two main characters.  All the supporting characters are also well developed.

Two packs have recently merged after an alpha abused his position and was imprisoned by the council that oversee disputes in the shifters world.

Cam is the pack alpha, who has been given the huge task of instigated another back with his own pack. Tensions are high, but Cam is relieved to have something to keep his mind from thinking about his wife is dead.  He has closed himself off from any romance since her death.

Gareth is one of Cams Beta’s, has yearned for his Alpha’s love and romance, knowing it could never happen, he has buried his feelings, with a faint relief that no one else will get what he wants from Cam.

But when the pack take on a female beta from another pack for a short term, and that female is the spitting image of Cams wife, Emotions flare up for both Cam and Gareth.

Gareth finds he is unable to mask his feelings and the potential soul bond he has with Cam, and it all come tumbling out.

Can Cam break down the walls he has built, and accept his potential bond?   What will the pack members think of their bonding if it happens?

We are taken on a intense ride following the two characters as they deal with their feelings and emotions.

Some paranormal books are basically just romances with token Werewolf or Vampires in the stories, that may as well be human.  But in this book, you really believe that they are werewolves, and the story just would not work if they were just plain old human.

I really enjoyed this book and am planning to review the other books in the series in the near future, so stay tuned.

Gareth’s heart is set on Cam, but Cam’s heart broke a long time ago.

As alpha of the Regent’s Park Pack, Cam’s focus is always centred on its members—his personal life pushed aside after the death of his wife. Now that his pack has merged with the Primrose Hill shifters, he can't afford any distractions.

Gareth’s been in love with his alpha for years, but his position as beta complicates matters. Added to the fact Cam still mourns his late wife, Gareth knows his feelings will never be reciprocated, so he buries them deep.

With the two packs already struggling to unite under one alpha, they get a surprise addition—one who causes more tension within the ranks. Under such strain, long-kept secrets are forced into the open. Gareth and Cam must deal with the aftermath, while also keeping the pack’s best interests at heart.

Title: Off-Campus Setup
Author: Maria Vickers
Genre: M/M College Romance
Release Date: March 7, 2018
Levi Cox left it all behind to go to school in California, but nothing could prepare him for what he discovers when he gets there. Between the university screwing up his living arrangements, the weird meddling old woman who runs the boarding house, and the fellow student who instantly catches his eye, life in Cali is more than he expected, and he isn’t sure he’s ready for any of it. College was supposed to be an adventure, but this might be more than Levi can handle.
Nathan Orion wants to have fun. That’s what he lives for and it's exactly what his college years are supposed to be about. He’s happy with living the single life and being carefree…that is until the new student at his grandmother’s boarding house crashes into his life. Now he’s been recruited to show the new guy around, and if Nathan has his way, it won't be just on-campus.
Will there be more, or is this only an illusion? Two men thrown together, not expecting anything, but possibly finding so much more than an off-campus setup.

What do you get when you mix a young country boy collage student, a party animal collage boy and a larger than life meddling Grandma?

You get a sweet romance with lots of humor and just enough angst to make a great story.

I really loved Levi and Nathan, two opposites that fit perfectly and are instantly attracted to one another.   And Nathans Grandma is one bright eccentric and larger than life Lady with a big heart.

Levi arrives in the city a few days before Collage starts, to find out there has been an error in accommodation requirements, he is down as a commuting student, but lives in Texas.  He is soon sent to a student boarding house, where he meets Nathan, or gets knocked off his feet as Nathan runs out of his Grandma’s House.

There is an instant attraction, and with a little help from Nathans Grandma Their feelings soon turn into actions and they get it together.

I love the chemistry between the main characters, and the secondary characters.  And the twist towards the end is amazing, I did not expect the story to end like it does,  or should that be The story start as it should have?    Not sure what I am trying to say?   You will just have to read the book to find out for yourself!

“You need something?” Well, he managed more than one word. He swallowed hard.
My eyes followed the movement of his throat and I had to gulp a mouthful of saliva in response. This was stupid. We were two grown adults, regardless if we were still in our teens. Acting like two strangers after what happened was idiotic. “Can we talk?” I didn’t know what I planned on saying, but anything was better than this.
“Sure.” He opened his door a little more and disappeared inside.
Shuffling my feet, I followed him and closed the door behind me. I’d been in his room before. Uncluttered and simple, just like the man leaning against his desk, the sunlight streaming through the window behind him.
“What did you need?” his asked, his drawl a little more pronounced with a tone of voice that sounded either bored or resigned. I couldn’t tell which.
Everything about this made me nervous, but I couldn’t say why. I licked my lips to wet them, noticing his eyes following my tongue. In a moment of bravery—or sheer stupidity—I blurted, “Do you want to go out tonight?” I lived my life calm, cool, and collected. I didn’t get nervous or word vomit whatever popped into my head. Apparently tonight, the rules had changed and I did not approve one iota.
“I don’t feel like goin’ out to a party. That’s not my thing,” he answered, leaning back a little more, his hands resting on the flat desk top behind him. His words and tone hinted that he was holding himself back, but his posture told me that he hadn’t closed himself off to me. Finally, my psych classes were being put to good use.
“I didn’t say anything about a party. Did I?” I grinned, feeling a little braver.
His lips pulled up into his own smile and he shook his head. “No, I don’t guess you did. What did you have in mind?”
“After the stunt my grandmother pulled earlier when she decided to give us both a heart attack, I figured we could use a small break. I know we also need to make up for the studying we missed, but that can wait until tomorrow. Tonight, no thinking about school, my grandmother, or anything else. Fun is the name of the game. We’ll go out and let loose. Start off with dinner and then decide what to do from there. What do you say?”
His smile grew and I knew he’d go along with my plan. “Fine. We’ll go out and then how about you take me out to Santa Monica Pier. You said it wasn’t too far away.”
“Deal. Now go get ready.”
“This is my room. You’re the one that needs to git.”
I scanned the room briefly and chuckled. “True. I’ll see you in an hour?”
“I’ll be here.”
Leaving his room through his door, since I knew for a fact that I’d locked my side of the bathroom earlier, I walked next door and entered. No thinking. Tonight was only about doing.

Men found him attractive, interesting even. He was like a fascinating experiment gone wrong that men liked to investigate. He’d get a date - or two, if he was lucky - but it wasn’t long before Brian’s darkness showed, and the men were running from him.

Brian King was honorably discharged from the United States Navy five years ago. He’d left with the highest honors a man can receive in his country, but he’d paid the ultimate price to earn them. He was considered one of the best; an Intelligence Officer in a Joint Special Operations Delta team that’d been a twelve-man wrecking crew. They’d thought they were invincible… until they weren’t. Brian was the only member that survived the ambush. He survived ten months of pain, of torture, only to emerge on the other side a warrior. A POW survivor. He’d returned home with all his limbs, his right mind, and with his only brother Ford, at his side. But, one thing had been lost, maybe for good… his voice.

Now, being a bounty hunter is Brian’s only means to satisfy his need to calculate, track, and capture. His only outlet to the stress caused by his silence. He was good at what he did. But, all work and no play for a forty-four year old man was taking its toll. Brian wasn’t a faulty experiment. He missed companionship, he missed communicating. So, when he met Sway Hamilton – in the most unconventional means – he’d been surprised at his special way of understanding Brian’s every look… and touch.

Sway grew up in the rough part of ATL, trailing behind his twin brother Stanton and his best friend, Dana. He and his brother had a bond only twins could understand. So when Stanton’s life was taken during their sophomore year in college, Sway didn’t think he’d ever recover. He finally finished school, got his masters in nursing, worked hard, and focused on taking care of his mother. However, Sway knew there was more to life than heartache, and caring for others. There had to be. But he didn’t know what any of those things were until he met a dark hunter that blew his mind… and the intense man had never uttered a single word.

Brian and Sway can feel the powerful connection between them. It was there from the start—but both of them have battled with loss and anguish for so long, neither understand that love can ease all of it. Do they have the courage to battle through it together? Sway has to learn to trust in love, and Brian has to believe that Sway will always understand him even if he never speaks again.

Sway held him tight around his neck, “I don’t need you to talk, Brian. I can hear you just fine,” Sway whispered softly, kissing his throat.

This novel is a part of a series but can be read as a standalone. No cliffhangers.

Trigger Warning: This story contains acts of bond recovery agent violence. Mention of war zones and descriptions of war prisoners. This story DOES NOT contain overly-described acts of torture.

Dana lifted the beer that Sway had already ordered for him and took a large gulp, wiping his mouth with the sleeve of his old Dallas hoodie. “So, what’s up swish-and-sway? Spit it out. Applebee’s ain’t open twenty-four hours.”

Sway rolled his eyes at the nickname and decided to get down to why he’d called his brother out at almost nine o’clock at night. “How well do you know Brian?”

Dana finished his beer and flagged the waitress for another before he turned back to him. “I’ve known him a few years, just as long as I’ve known Ford. They both came to work for Duke at the same time, bout three and half years ago. I’ve worked side by side with them ever since.”

Sway hoped he could get as many of his questions answered as he could before Dana started to act like Dana. “What was your first impression of him?”

“Damn that guy’s huge… and quiet.” Dana chuckled.

“Dana come on, be serious.” It sounded like a whine, but he could do that with Dana. He was tired, irritable and his feet hurt, he was allowed to groan.

“So, first impressions.” Dana looked away as if he was carefully considering his words.  “Brian wowed me on the very first bust he and his brother assisted us on. Judge—you know Duke’s other business partner who runs the PI business—he brought them on to help temporarily after Duke was injured. They were only supposed to aid with one case. Needless to say, that was years ago and they’re still with us. The way Brian calculates and moves is freakin’ crazy.”

“Do you trust him, D?” Sway asked quietly. “Is he dangerous?”

Dana was serious when he answered. “Personally, I think he’s the most dangerous man in Atlanta, but he’s only a threat to certain people. To answer your other question, I trust him with my life every day, and the life of my partner. He’s an amazing man. I’m lucky to have met him but even luckier to call him a friend. I’d trust him with my baby brother too.”

A.E. (Adrienne) Via has been a best-selling author in gay romance for five years now, but she’s no stranger to MM. She’s been an avid reader of gay lit for over twenty years before she picked up her laptop to place her own kiss on this beautiful genre. She’s also the founder and owner of Via Star Wings Books, having published a couple of great new up and coming MM authors.

A.E. has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Virginia Wesleyan College that she used to start her own paralegal firm after she graduated in 2008. She spent five years preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions for struggling blue collar workers who couldn’t afford to file with a lawyer. It was a rewarding and satisfying career… but another path called to me. Writing.

A.E.’s writing embodies everything from hopelessly romantic to adventure, to scandalous. Her stories often include intriguing edges and twists that take readers to new, thought-provoking depths.

Now that she’s gotten over her 10 books published hump, she’s kind of known now for her play rough and love hard, bad boy, alphas. However, I do like to push myself to step out of my comfort zone and explore with different tropes, but I never push myself into a whole other genre. I’m head over heels for gay romance and I have tons of more hot stories to tell.

Go to work. Come home. Repeat. Simple, uncomplicated, boring, but it was Phil's love, and he liked it that way. So what if he sometimes woke up with an ache in his chest that wouldn't go away because his ex broke up with him over cereal? He was a big boy. He moved on because he had to. But nosey friends and fate won't let him be.

One night, when he's forced to have fun, he meets Shige, who's far too enigmatic to really be interested in him. There must be some catch…

50 years have passed outside while Shige’s kept himself locked away, tired of the worlds of humans and vampires. He just wanted to be left alone to collect dust. But all that changed when he ventured out on a whim and meets Phil, setting them on an arduous path that will change them both.

This love won't be easy for either of them, rife with distrust and danger from without and within, but if they survive, they might be stronger for it.

This book is a true Vampire book, Some Paranormal books especially paranormal romance books, could pass as a general romance book.  What I mean is that if you took the paranormal elements away you would still have a story.

With this book, it is about how Phil meets Shige (a vampire) randomly at a night club. They hit it off, but unbeknown to Phil, his meeting of Shige has put him into grave danger by another vampire, who is out to hurt Shige (Through Phil).

Shige and his group of vampire’s force Phil to move to their base for his own safety.  Slowly Phil is witnessed to strange goings on.  But Vampires are not real.  Even when one of Shige crew tries to explain, Phil does not believe them and think they are mad want to be vampires.

It is not until Shige takes Phil to Nasu, a club where vampires meet, and he witnesses a vampire feeding from a human, that it all comes together.

I like the banter between the two main characters.  It is also refreshing that the human does not automatically accept everything that happens and even tries to escape.  The story world came across authentic.  And the pace of the book was well balanced. There is no outlandish weapons, or over use of magical powers.  This is a real down to earth Vampire novel.

What do you do when your past comes knocking?

Six hundred and ninety-five days. That's how long it's been since Jude's fiancé broke off their engagement. With the help of his brother and his all-encompassing love for music, Jude glued the broken pieces of his heart back together, but when his ex shows up on his doorstep late one evening, Jude fears it will fall apart again.

Two years ago, Vincent made a terrible mistake. He left the love of his life for stupid, ill-advised reasons. It took a traumatic event to bring what was truly important in his life into focus. Older and wiser, he's now ready to do whatever it takes to win Jude back.

Their chemistry is as explosive as ever, but will they be able to work through the real issues? Can trust once broken be rebuilt?

This Novella reads like a big novel, in the way that it is rich in description, depth and emotion.  Even though it is under 100 pages, it is perfectly paced.   I am not sure how the author managed to write such a full story in so few pages.

Have you been hurt by a lover, who left you so broken that your heart and mind are still fragile two years later?

What would you do if they suddenly turned up one night saying they made a terrible mistake?

That is what happens to Jude, when his Ex Vincent turns up one night.  Their magic spark is still there but Jude finds it terribly hard to let his defences down.  And Vincent knows he was a jerk to leave Jude and following his fathers and business partners wishes to search for someone more ambitious.

The emotions are raw and so very real, but it is obvious too that Vincent has hurt just as bad as Jude did from their break up. They have a long and hard journey to work through their past and try and build a future.

I must say I really like this authors writing style, they hooked me right from the start.

I was still wide awake when someone knocked on my door half an hour later, and I knew who it was before I even got out of bed. Who else could it be at four in the morning but Vee?

I didn't bother to turn on the lights or get dressed, and I opened the door in my boxers. My heart lurched at the sight of him. He still hadn't shaved and he had black rings under his eyes. His usual confidence was nowhere to be seen. Usually, his presence took over the entire room, but today he looked as if he was trying to make himself smaller.

Without a word, I stepped aside and let him in. I grabbed his hand and led him to the den. "We'll talk in the morning. You can sleep on the couch," I said. "I'll get some sheets." I got some fresh linen from the closet and grabbed an extra blanket -- he was always cold when he slept -- and made up the sofa for him. He didn't move from the spot where I'd let go of his hand, and he didn't take his eyes off me.

"You gonna sleep in your clothes?" I asked.

He shook his head and peeled off his lavender V-neck sweater -- probably cashmere -- and flipped open the jeans' button while I fluffed his pillows and spread out the cozy blanket. When he pulled down his pants, I had to avert my eyes. To stop myself from staring, I jogged to the kitchen and brought back a bottle of water for him.

He was tense when I returned as if he'd thought I'd gone to bed without saying goodnight. I didn't like seeing him uncertain. He was a guy who was assured of himself. Never doubted himself or his intelligence. But he was never arrogant. No, he hid a kind and generous man behind his cocky smile. It was one of the things that had attracted me to him in the first place; all the different layers of his personality. The sides of him he only ever showed me.

"Go to bed," I murmured and lifted the blanket in invitation. After a brief hesitation, he lay down and curled up on the couch. I tucked him in -- pulling the blanket all the way up to his chin -- and made sure it covered his naked toes, too.

I resisted leaning down and kissing him on the cheek. I managed to keep myself from ruffling his hair or touching the unfamiliar stubble to see if it was as silky as I imagined. And I didn't beg him to take off his T-shirt so I could run my fingers through his treasure trail. I simply gave him a smile and said, "Sleep well Lovee."

As soon as the old endearment slipped out I wished I could take it back. He, on the other hand, lit up, and for the first time since he'd knocked on my door yesterday, something looking a lot like hope shone from his eyes.

I whirled around and ran out. Dove under my covers, and buried my face in my pillow, not moving until my lungs screamed for oxygen.

Gasping for air, I tried to find a comfortable sleeping position. My questions had disappeared and been replaced with the image of him on my couch, all pleading eyes, and heartbreaking vulnerability.

I turned to the other side and fluffed my pillow, but it was too hot from my breathing into it, so I flipped it over. I rolled over on my back and flung my arm over my eyes. Then I tried to lie on my stomach with my arm tucked under the pillow, but it quickly went numb. It got too hot under the cover, so I threw it off and then it got too cold. I shivered and pulled it back up, but kept a leg outside.

After twisting in my bed for what felt like an eternity, I gave up. I sighed, stood, and padded back into the den. Vee looked up at me when I entered, as awake as I was. Tilting my head in the direction of my bedroom I said, "Bring your blanket."

He scrambled off the couch and followed me. Tucked under my covers at a safe distance from him, I could finally fall asleep. The last thing I remembered before closing my eyes, was his sooty lashes fanned out on pale cheeks, and the snuffling sounds he made as he slept.

Nell Iris is a romantic at heart who believes everyone deserves a happy ending. She’s a bona fide bookworm (learned to read long before she started school), wouldn’t dream of going anywhere without something to read (not even the ladies’ room), loves music (and singing along but, let’s face it, she’s no Celine Dion), and is a real Star Trek nerd (“Make it so”). She loves words, poetry, wine, and Sudoku, and absolutely adores elephants!

Nell believes passionately in equality for all regardless of race, gender, or sexuality, and wants to make the world a better, less hateful, place.

Nell is a forty-something bisexual Swedish woman, married to the love of her life, and a proud mama of a grown daughter. She left the Scandinavian cold and darkness for warmer and sunnier Malaysia a few years ago, and now spends her days writing, surfing the Internet, enjoying the heat, and eating good food. One day she decided to chase her lifelong dream of being a writer, sat down in front of her laptop, and wrote a story about two men falling in love.

Nell Iris writes gay romance, prefers sweet over angst, and wants to write diverse and different characters.
