BLURB

Andy’s a recent college graduate with a mountain of debt and a load of regret over earning a degree he’ll never use. When he takes a job at a local gay bar, he doesn’t expect the first person to catch his eye to be the man he’s been dreaming about since a chance encounter.

Joshua’s comfortable in his life. He has an amazing son who’s wise beyond his years, an ex-wife who’s one of his best friends, and a great job. Now, if only those closest to him would quit hounding him to start dating again after the divorce.

Joshua finds what’s been missing with the other people he’s tried dating the first time Andy slips up and calls him Daddy. What starts as a slip of the tongue could lead to what both men really need and want.

Review

This is quite a sweet and a little kinky romance, that will warm your heart.  Andy is a Student about to Graduate from college.  He lives in a studio flat above a shop.  He will have a degree in a few weeks, that he has no idea what to do with.  He is a lost lamb and he does not know how pull himself together and move forward in his life.   He does get a job as a barman at a club where he meets the man of his dreams.

Joshua is opposite to Andy.  He is confident in his life and decisions he makes. But he has put up some fences after previous dates have ran a mile when finding out about Joshua’s strange living arrangements.  He lives with his young Son Gabe who is wise beyond his years, and his Ex-wife, when she is in the country.

A few chance meetings and the spark between both characters is there. But there are many obstacles for each of them to deal with, what quickly becomes clear is that Joshua is just the guy to help Andy and to care for him.  And Andy is the boy who needs that little extra support that Joshua has been wanting.

Andy is so cute, and Joshua is such a softy, and Gabe is so adorable and funny with his wise words, and the Father / Son talk in reverse when he tells his dad he needs to start dating.

There a plenty of little obstacles and a few misunderstandings that the couple must work through to try and find their happy ever after.

I Liked the characters a lot, they were fully fledged out and authentic, especially Andy and his constant worrying and need for comforting.

If you like a good romance, with a little kink and low angst then you will love this book,  I know I did.

Author’s Bio

Quinn writes LGBTQ romance with a kick. Their stories center around the relationship building between the characters, but also shows how compatible they are in the bedroom (or wherever else the urge strikes).
